Flight and Ground Vehicle Simulation Update 2009
Program Overview
The Flight and Ground Vehicle Simulation Update is a unique five-day program cosponsored by the State University of New York at Binghamton and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Modeling and Simulation Technical Committee (AIAA). Their cooperative efforts have produced a program that addresses all major components and subsystems comprising today's complex flight and ground vehicle simulators. Topics are organized in a developmental sequence leading to systems integration and, ultimately, evaluation and validation strategies. Each topic provides a general overview for less technically oriented participants, then moves toward a more in-depth examination of the topic, stressing problem resolution approaches and state-of-the-art technologies. Lecturers are leading experts from industry, government, and academia recommended by a national advisory committee.
Who Should Attend?
Engineers, system hardware and software specialists, managers, and simulation support personnel, including product sales/marketing representatives, and other professionals associated with the specification, design, testing, implementation, or acquisition of modern flight and ground vehicle simulators. Those involved in all aspects of contract administration or procurement will find the course to be indispensable. The scope and organization of this course are applicable to a variety of industry, government, military, and university personnel.
